Overview

Did you just hear that gigantic cry of 'hooray'? That was the sound of millions of Sagittarian lives getting better in 2010. Pluto has moved out of your sign, and Saturn has left Virgo (which wasn't doing you any favors either, as you may have noticed from the unusual pressures in your home life, and the difficulties you've had getting what you need to feel secure).

Of course, as much as you'd like all of life to match that happy, carefree streak you have, you know it doesn't always work out that way. The big pressures have just moved on and changed form. Fortunately, your reputation for being able to see the bright side of things will generally be justified by these new issues. There will be new challenges to your money supply and how you handle your money, and yet you'll also have new opportunities to correct problems in your material life, and maybe even prosper more than you ever have before.

Work is also going to present new roles and new opportunities, and will also give you chances to shine. And there will also be new demands from your friends and loved ones. But those same issues will help you sort out who is of real value to you, and what your real value is to them too. Romantic

Didn't it seem to you like your love life in the last while was sort of a victim of outside circumstances, as much as anything else? In 2010, this will no longer be the case. You will be seeing your romantic goals (and the people you involve yourself with) through new and clearer lenses.

Regardless of what kind of relationship you're in at the time, March and April are going to come with more than the usual amount of Spring Fever. If you aren't involved with anyone, this could give you the impulse to get involved. And if you are in a relationship, this could give you the impulse to either shake things up, or move on entirely. Put a little thought into it first, and make sure that your impulsiveness is tempered with wisdom.

As a complicating factor, you're not going to have a shortage of romantic opportunities, whether you want them or not. It's as if your attractiveness has been turned up a notch -- or maybe people are just paying more attention. If you're single this can't help but be good news, but again can be challenging if you are in a relationship that needs tweaking but not trashing. Career

Work? Money? These are not things that Sagittarius has a reputation for caring about all that much -- it clashes with your carefree image. Unfortunately, the last couple of years have made you take these things seriously. That's because Saturn has been passing through the Career Sector of your sky, making for all kinds of restrictions and limitations. Fortunately, that influence has passed, and (relatively speaking) it should be clear sailing from now on. Congratulations on having simply made it through more or less in one piece. You passed through the fire and made it out the other side.

July and August will find you excelling at your work. Don't be afraid to point this out to your boss, either; They'll be more likely to respond positively to your work at that time, and you'll be more likely to reap the benefits.

A newfound sense of economic relief may give you the urge to party hard with your earnings. Be careful of this. Just as the last two years have seen stresses and strains on your professional life, this year is going to be seeing all kinds of new opportunities for you to spend.
